“While we are disappointed that US District Judge Amit Mehta didn’t incorporate explicit protections for workers and their unions in his order today, we won’t give up our fight to be heard, and we will continue to exercise our right to speak on these matters – a right we’ve had to fight to get Google to recognize. We believe that the empowerment and protection of workers must be an essential consideration in antitrust proceedings, and that workers must have a seat at the table alongside company leadership and government in order to best promote the interests of employees and the public.”
